The Dragon Flies 2005 Dragon Boat Festival - In early July 2005 we hosted our very own dragon boat festival. We had great weather, a fantastic turnout and a lot of fun! This gallery takes you through our day in Palmer Park, on the water and many of the faces seen that day.
'Thank you!' to everyone who took part or supported this meaningful event!

Peterborough Dragon Boat Festival 2005
- One of the most popular festivals around, raising funds for Peterborough Region Health Centre's breast cancer diagnostic equipment.

Laughlin Dragon Boat Festival 2004 - The festival that started the 2004 season with a bang for The Dragon Flies! The Colorado River, the Grand Canyon and a carefree, homeless donkey or two.

Canoe The Nonquon 2003 - Travelling from the top of Lake Scugog all the way down to Port Perry harbour. 27 miles on a beautiful spring day!

The Dragon Flies' Fleet - It doesn't take long to create an inventory of equipment! Here are a few images of the vessels used on the water. Keep in- mind that it takes paddles, a drum, decorative dragon head & tail, pfd's, lines, bumpers, pails, gas cans, bimini covers, etc. and volunteers to make it all happen.
