The Dragon Flies is a group of women who have come together to form a dragon boat team comprised of breast cancer survivors.
The Dragon Flies Breast Cancer Survivor Group has vowed to raise public awareness about breast cancer and the achievement of living full and active lives following a diagnosis of breast cancer through dragon boating as well as other wellness programs.
It seems like a long way off, but June 21st, 2014 will be here before you know it!
Get ready for The Dragon Flies Dragon Boat Festival. This exciting and popular event is now in its tenth year of being presented on the shores of Lake Scugog in Port Perry.
Join hundreds of participants and other festival patrons as we all have a blast raising awareness of Breast Cancer, local support programs and funds for the four local hospitals, Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, Lakeridge Health in Port Perry, Uxbridge Cottage Hospital, and the R.S. McLaughlin Durham Regional Cancer Centre in Oshawa.
